Colorado Snowfall Forecast

Hey everyone! My partner and I are planning our honeymoon in Colorado, and we’re wondering how much we should take the snowfall forecast into account.
We’re hoping for a magical snowy honeymoon, but we don’t want our plans disrupted by heavy snowstorms. Does anyone have experience traveling to Colorado around wintertime? How accurate are the snowfall forecasts, and how should we prepare?
Any tips for navigating snowy conditions or must-visit destinations would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I've done several winter trips to Colorado, and the snowfall forecast is usually pretty accurate! But be ready for anything—weather can change quickly.
If you're driving, make sure to rent a car with snow tires or 4WD, just in case.
And don't forget to check road closures regularly!

We went to Colorado for our honeymoon in January last year. The snowfall was gorgeous, and the forecast helped us plan our skiing days. Just be sure to keep an eye on the updates because, like Rob said, the weather can shift fast. Honestly, the snow made everything more magical for us!

I wouldn’t worry too much about the forecast unless a big storm is predicted. Colorado’s got great infrastructure for snow, so flights and roads usually get cleared quickly. If you want to be extra cautious, schedule some indoor activities like spa days or cozy cabin time, just in case it’s too snowy to explore.
