Washing a White Fox Hoodie?

DD's BF gave her a White Fox hoodie for Christmas and the washing instructions state that it needs a cold hand wash, no wringing.
I'm tempted to stick it in the washer on a delicates cycle but am terrified of damaging her prized possession! Has anybody tried a machine wash for these? I can't believe a pretty basic hoodie heeds such precious handling! It's a white one, green logos. Thank you!

 

I turned my daughters inside out and put it on a 'handwash' 40 degree cycle in the washing machine (I was a bit worried as the label says 30 degrees) then just air dried on a hanger... turned out fine

 

Another who hadn't looked at the instructions. 30 mixed wash and on a hanger on the clothes horse here.
